From Antiques to artwork, all items found here have local Cleveland ties.  If your looking for nostalgia from our city, you have come to the right place.  We feature a local artist Jim Ptacek. Jim has been photographing Cleveland, Cleveland suburbs and the neighboring cities for 30 years. Jim’s photography captures memories.

Jim Ptacek was born in 1942 in Cleveland Ohio.  He graduated from Cooper Art School. Jim’s works are the cityscapes of your mind.  He has managed to distill the city down to its very essence...those structures that are a reflection of who and what the city is.  Peering through the dark hues and grained images is the life of the city...frozen magically in time by Jim’s unique blend of photography and lithograph printing.  His prints hang in banks,, restaurants, corporate offices and private collections throughout the country.  They have been the focus of many gallery shows as well.  His work has been reproduced as commemorative posters, calendars, greeting cards, post cards and tee shirts.  Jim’s work now includes the cities of Cleveland, Chicago, Cincinnati, New Orleans, Detroit, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Mobile, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Nashville and San Juan, Puerto Rico, capturing local scenes and landmark in limited edition prints and posters.
